This party is a photographic party...meaning....to create a setting outside wearing your vintage clothing and accessories (if any) to evoke the feeling of an oil painting from early artists such as John Singer Sargent and Monet ......................
AND, if you are camera shy, then a sun bonnet or parasol will suit this party well.....
Make sure you let me know you would like to join us, so I can link you for the "event"

Saw your note, but not sure I follow??? Sounds interesting though....
ReplyDeletethanks for stopping by my blog..your photos are beautiful.
ReplyDeletei'll be back to see what you post next! :)
Dear Anne Marie,
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like such fun. Sadly I do not have any antique clothing, but I will see if I can find something in my closet that will do. I will let you know if I can participate.
I LOVE the photo of you and your sweet girl! Such loveliness!!!!
Love, Paula
I am going to try my best to participate (I don't get my camera back until July 6th, as my Mom took it with her to Europe).
ReplyDeleteOn a different note, I thought you may like this photographer, Steve McCurry. Have you heard of him? He captures human emotion so well from people all around the world! http://www.stevemccurry.com/main.php
I was going to ask you if I could do an indoor scene because it may be hard for me to do it during the day....but I can do it the Sunday before. Sorry to be complicating mattters.
ReplyDeleteI have the spot picked out already in my head. I'm excited!!!!!

ReplyDeleteWhat paintings are you trying to represent.
What a neat idea! I'll check back to see everyone's photos. Thanks for the great idea for the gumball machine! They drove me crazy today asking for gum every 10 minutes. It may not be long at all before I'm filling it with decorative balls. Thank you!
