Monday Morning Fashion....and a bit of romance

Part of living self-sustainably, well...trying to, is sewing your own clothing...... However.......this beautiful summer weather, and the gardens, are beckoning my attention.....

So little one will have to wait a bit longer for a new dress from Mama........

(Dress and apron from Na-Da Farm blooms clothing line..........
coming soon.................)

Sewing to me is both chore and delight...........I'm praying for more rain here just so I can have just a few days inside to sew................
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend......and let me just tell you romance is in the air.....

  3. Very cool! I love the dress!

I really like this song....I was missing it because you took it off for a while!

I think we are a lot a like. I have posted simular posts as some of yours and you like mine ....with out knowing until I visit your blog!

    We think a lot alike!

My chickens have not been laying as many eggs lately either!

Thanks for putting the this song back on...can you leave it on your play list? I think up to 96 songs can be on your list....I leave all my songs on and add more to it and change my opening song.
But then others can scroll down my play list and find there favorites!

I liked the Irish songs you had too!

Hope your having a great day!

    Blessings,
    Georgiann

  7. Dear Anne Marie,

Your daughter is so sweet! I love the dress and apron you made for her! You sew beautifully! I love to sew, and I agree with you, it is both a delight and a chore. We need rain, too, but it is the extreme heat that is keeping us indoors! I hope you get to do some more sewing this week. I am excited about your Na-Da Farm blooms clothing line!!!

Enjoy the romance in the air!

    Love, Paula

  8. That is just precious! Just how I would dress my little girl IF she were still little! Of course the too cute little girl wearing said outfit only makes it that much cuter!

  11. I, too, have been so busy in the garden! I spent 2 1/2 hours out there yesterday morning! It is overcast and sprinkling this morning so I am focusing on house cleaning, bread baking and hopefully a little sewing!
