there isn't an easy way to plant them, you have to bend over and push them into the ground....but the work and wait is worth it...........we now have an abundance to store.............

they have to be dried in the sun....and when finished their "tales" or the greens will be braided together......
and hung in the root/wine cellar we have........
and oh, speaking of wine.....
