Contentment
the body craveth foods, and the spirit is athirst for peacefulness, and he that hath these, hath enough, for all beyond is purely vanity....
she is a gatherer of simples, culling wild herbs upon the hills, and now, as she standeth amongst the prairie grass,
to rest her mind, and ease her dreary disappointment....
Her soul leans in and pines for peace.....
Dost thou live? or only breathe and labour?
The echoes of her children's voices stir in unison with the nature that surrounds her......
She is quickened into Life, and full, for the time, with Contentment.
Who else is participating that I was made known of:

I think you have a Renoir in that top photo! The colours are fabulous [my new favourite word]!!

you'll have to show lots of pictures of your fete (how does one pronounce that?) I have no idea what it is!
ReplyDeleteWonderful Anne Marie. I love it and
ReplyDeleteI love your dress and hat.
This is so pretty and ethereal.
ReplyDeleteTres Joli!!!! Wish I could have participated, but alas I have nothing to wear fit for a disguise fete, don't know how to do the whole link thing, and my camera does not cooperate. Please have another one soon. My daughter and I just purchased an Edwardian dress from Etsy, and it would be perfect.

Such a neat idea. I'm going to have to be on the look-out for old clothes so we can do it next time.
