A gift for my little niece Briana, for her 1st Birthday.....

I haven't ever made a name banner like this, so I truly hope that she likes it!many folds of the ever so light tissue paper was truly a test of patience, as it was for my youngest daughter "please dear.....do not touch Briana's gift" ....."Oh Mama!.....may I have one?" "We'll see dear" (a.k.a. "no" at our house)
*Make sure you go see the creative photography of B&W Sunday in yesterday's post*

HI Anne Marie
ReplyDeleteYou are very clever .. and patient.. not sure i have that sort of patience anymore. The banner is lovely.
By the way .. i have left you a couple of awards at my blog! It's always a lovely read here and you are so generous to us B&W girls.
Thanks x Julie
What a neat gift. I know she'll love it!
ReplyDeleteWOW! THis looks like something out of a magazine? I don't know when you find the time!
ReplyDeletethe banner is beautiful, you did a fantastic job. i can see why your daughter asked for one. xo
ReplyDeleteSo so lovely...what talent you have...i don't know if I could fold all those pieces...it would be a test of my patience but you did it and it looks amazing!!! Happy week to you!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness! This is your first banner? It looks so perfect! I am not sure I could master that folding of the delicate tissue paper..I'm not such a good sewer! I finally got to my B&W post last evening and am sorry that it was so late....Hope you have a wonderful day and Happy Birthday to Briana!

Surely this will bring a lot of joy to a lot of people for a lot of years.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely banner! Very special with all the time and effort you put into it.
ReplyDelete"We'll see" usually means "no" here, too. =)
Happy Birthday to your baby girl Briana. You've done a great job on the banner. I've done small projects with folding and I don't think I'd have the patients to make a whole banner.
ReplyDeleteSo fun to see all the great things you make with your kids!!!
