Growing up.........well - even now!! clouds fascinate me.....
Especially because we see the sunrise, and the sunset on the horizon of our farm.....
(we actually get a better view without the barn of the sunrise ;) one good thing....)
awe and wonder surrounds me when I see them.......
and if you are listening to this Orb song (which has always been one of my favorites) you probably think Anne Marie's lost it!
but if you knew me well (or have been listening to my music choices on this online journal) you would know that my music taste is quite diverse.....
Honestly.......that is exactly why I cannot do an all white home......there is just TOO much
fabulous color on the horizon (pun intended).....
What could be better than looking peacefully up at little fluffy clouds? or watching the sunset?

ReplyDeleteA BIG cloud lover here. Love all your images. I like to watch the changing patterns as they drift across the sky. The best I have seen were from the cockpit of a plane [yonks ago when you could still go up front with the Pilot]. And well you know me.. love white.. but NEED colour! All your images are fanastic but the last one is unbelievable. I know how you feel about all white. It is difficult to stick to when there is such crazy gorgeous color in nature.

ReplyDeleteThe beautiful clouds make me want to daydream!! As a child, I loved to lay in the grass and stare at the clouds. Funny, I barely notice them now, well at least until I recently started taking pictures for my blog. Now I see so much more. Really see!!
ReplyDeleteColors?? I could never live in an all white world, but it does give things a sense of purity and is beautiful in it's own right. But we all must love color. How else could we not resist a sunrise, sunset or rainbow??
How interesting that you grew up in Michigan!! You had to have seen some beautiful sky there!!
