71* this morning and absolutely
beauteous, I have decided to take my
hand stitching outdoors.........
A new dress for my eldest daughter...............
she had chosen everything, the blue and white silky fabric, and even right down to the vintage bone buttons.....and soft lace.......

she had chosen everything, the blue and white silky fabric, and even right down to the vintage bone buttons.....and soft lace.......
and today, I am sewing on the buttons and securing the lace around her neckline and puffy sleeves....yes! she's 10 and wants puff! how can I be more thrilled?
Anne Marie's tip for the day: don't start something you can't finish
~have a most wonderful day~

Can't wait to see the finished product...on your beautiful model, of course!
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you from Kansas,

I am so envious of your sewing ability. I need to break down and take a class or something.

ReplyDeleteDon't start something you can't finish? HA...I need that saying in every room of the house. My daughter says I have creative overload. Too many ideas. Love the dress I is so girly and sweet!
ReplyDeleteGod love ya,
ReplyDeleteIf I had time to sew, let alone handstitch something....My kids need a farm to live on too. They have a lot of energy in a limited space. I read your blog all of the time, I just don't comment each and every time. I thoroughly enjoy reading it and love the pictures as well. You have painted a lovely picture of your farm through your words and talent.
Looks like good taste runs in the family!
ReplyDeleteOh I can't wait to see it. It makes me think of Anne of Green Gables and her blue dress with puffed sleeves from Matthew Cuthbert ;)
ReplyDeleteWell... you gotta post pics of it when you are done Missy!!! Love the Prarie Walk pics! Blessings, Janna
