I don't "normally" like looking at design elements for interiors on the web.......not sure why; but I'm sure it has something to do with looking at a digital image, instead of the real thing......
however.........
this company (Harmonie interieure) is well, unique........in both photography, color choices, and ideas.....it is definitely on my 'wish list' for my hallway upstairs - except it's missing one child (we'll just say he's napping shall we?)
now, I'm a BIG supporter of local artisans, merchants, market people........but when the company is small, and just "mom and pop" it still appeals to me rather than the

and please! click on the picture to look at their amazing ideas - and on their 'about us' page, you can see their home photos as well..........
Thank you for the link, Anne Marie. I will have a look...

Oh Anne Marie, I know that I don't know you personally but, what I do know of you and your home and family, this seems to fit the bill perfectly. I don't think that you are materialistic and I know that you love your family life and this look would fit in beautifully. I'm going to look at the site to see what else they have....I love it. XXXX
ReplyDeleteSorry, just a P.S...... I've got the Home Sweet Home one saved in my pictures and the Once upon a Time...they are so lovely. XXXX
ReplyDeleteWhen I was at the NY gift show I saw a lot more of these products then I ever had. Very popular in Europe and just starting here. Love there house!

ps....I hate buying from China too!
WOW - Just spent awhile on that website. How about that stuff?
ReplyDeleteHI Anne Marie
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit slow getting around my favourite blogs this week. Flu again! yuck
Well this image is lovely and yes although not locally made does say 'home grown'. I think I like it as it depicts a time when kids still had their precious innocence. a bit like a Norman Rockwell but in graphics.. hehe.. the cute stools, the pigtails and the little kitty all part of the charm of children making fun for themselves. [not a video game to be seen hehehehe]reminds me of my childhood games and adventures in the backyard.
Perhaps these 4 are busy planning a surprise for the 5th! hehe
Have a great week and thanks for the tip re 'About us'
I think I've seen this site before and love their poster series 'Harmonie collection'

That is charming. Amen to buying things not "made in."
ReplyDeleteLove it Ann Marie! If you do it, show us your design in your hall!I think it's perfect for you!( You can free hand inthe missing child)!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. I have seen one of their images on a door and it was precious. Regarding the photos...the photographer asked if we wanted urban or nature and I said urban. She then began looking for areas in my town to do the shoot.
ReplyDeleteWow, so very cute indeed!! I'm a sucker for gorgeous interiors.

That is pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteAnne Marie,
ReplyDeleteI love this link & am passing it along to my sister-in-law in California. Also love your fall gardening post. Now I feel guilty for kind of cleaning up my potting bench for the winter. Maybe I'll get back at it for a while longer!
Always, always great to visit with you!
Lisa
I'm such a sucker for silhouettes...love them so much. THis is such a sophisticated way to do it. I, too, love the mom and pop operations--also businesses in the area fueled by women with drive. Makes us all better women :)
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling 100%!
