step back......

Coming from a, at one time reluctant, blogger, I am now officially really liking reading and writing my online journal (aka blog)........

but I try not to let it over-run my other interests........

I'm a pretty fast typist and can 'find' my way around the computer pretty easy.......so I get things done quickly.......

I truly think the blog is a great idea.........wonderful outlet.........fantastic inspirational tool......and sometimes a faith enhancing experience.............

but don't forget those books...........

those great magazines.............................books are written, at times even illustrated..........and that is why we are able to write these blogs..........from all of those things............

to me - it would be a sad day when very few people read books...............and from the sound of the response I got when trying to find a good book to read, many of you still do read - actual books..........

I love looking at bookshelves.........there is a warm feeling about them............and a room without books, to me? isn't really a room at all.........just space..............


and I certainly am not going to be trapped into "space"............books ground me...........they teach me...........they make me yearn to be a better writer.............................
