her owner had left this world, and consequently left over 10 horses, a sheep, guinea pig, dogs, chickens...........her legacy............

what's that sticking out of her mouth? yup - her tongue...........
she came with the name Jordan..........why?

she's my beauty..........and loved dearly.......
a quick foot note: Anne Marie hates this photo of her, for she is 8 months pregnant and it truly shows with the "puff" on the face.......another great aspect of animals; they don't care! and I swear, Jordan cuddled up to me more (yes, I said cuddled) when I was expecting baby #5.
My husband and I fell in love over Jordan's kindness - and gentle nature - (he was able to ride her the first time we met her)......so we took her (and a companion) to Na-Da Farm, to become part of the family.........with her hay belly and all (seen below)...
She absolutely had NO idea what she was getting into...........
a dream come true..........for all of us here.......she is the best white mare anyone could have.....

what's that sticking out of her mouth? yup - her tongue...........she came with the name Jordan..........why?
because of this man here: Michael Jordan.......relaxed on the court........

and
here's our Jordan.......relaxed on the farm.........

Well I sure enjoyed your picture with Jordan, and what a wonderful reason to have a puffy face. That house sounds like he is happy on your Farm.

This is not to flatter; this is the truth. You look beautiful and I wouldn't have thought your face was puffy. I'm glad you took Jordan to be part of your family and I think you said, the companion, too. I love this story.

Oh, Jordan looks so soft and kind.
ReplyDeleteAlthough she probably had a lovely life with her previous owner, I would think that it was her lucky day when she came home to live with you and your family, Anne Marie.
She has made the most beautiful White Wednesday. XXXX

lovely story - thanks for sharing. I love reading/hearing about these types of stories. Anne Marie should be happy that she didn't have to renew her drivers license when she was 9 months pregnant like I did. I see it every day and grimace. Three more years and I'll get a new one.
ReplyDeleteJordan is beautiful and how fortunate for you to have such a wonderful horse. Anne Marie I couldn't think of a better reason to have a puffy face, I think you are beautiful too! God Bless you with the new baby and your family. sandi
ReplyDeleteHi Anne Marie
ReplyDeleteI agree with Carole, I like that photo of yourself with Jordan, there is something special about it.
Nothing like a cheeky horse with his tongue hanging out ! cute!
xx Julie
That's a great horse name--cracks me up!
ReplyDeleteI adore your blog..
ReplyDeleteYour home life is much like ours, simple. We live on a farm in the mountains of east Tn. And even though we have not been blessed with children we do have many, many four-legged kids!
Thank you for sharing so much of yourself. Your children are beautiful and oh-so-lucky to have a wonderful place to grow up!
Blessings, Misha
