from Na-Da Farm........
While perusing through my photographs, I found this one below......
it used to be my view from the back door......
nope, not over it yet......I'm truly a different person because of that fire.....
fire = no organic co-op
fire = no Na-Da Farm Market (in the barn at least)
fire = no hay loft turned drum jam session...my music loft
fire=no more Na-Da Farm Chicks Club (it was our clubhouse)
yet........
I still have so many things to rejoice in!
*and a special hello to friends both near and far*
That was sad about your barn Anne Marie but you have a very positive attitude to it.
ReplyDeleteHello to you from afar !! XXXX
Dearest Anne Marie....Stuff happens and folks change. You wouldn't be the person you are today without having gone thru what you have. What doesn't kill us ultimately makes us stronger. At least that is what I am telling myself as we go thru some extremely difficult days here at our farmette.
ReplyDeleteMay you and yours have a most blessed Christmas!

I think this is my first glimpse of your old barn. It certainly was lovely. Now I understand what you mean by the loss you feel. I'm sorry that happened.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you've decorated! so sirene!

These events- these hard things do change us. Good comes then in a different shape, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteAnne Marie- I am so pleased to know you through your blog.
What a blessing.

Wow...that must have been quite traumatic...have a great weekend
ReplyDeleteBarn's burnt down - now I can see the moon. Can't remember who this quote is from but it sure helped me laugh when our whole house burnt down while we were away. Coming back from summer holidays to a barren winter was a bit tricky - but there was no immediate trauma for the kids. You are right - SO MUCH TO REJOICE IN. And a special thought for you... Hope you have taken up your drum sessions again.
