from the top.......

these authentic old locker baskets were just waiting for their perfect role.......

they reside on top of the new hutch, along with some other 'friends'.........
sheet music from 1890's in wire candle hurricane..........

a grand bell jar that was a gift to me, with three miniature versions.........

this original antique gilded round beveled mirror now does it's reflection justice........

a glass (what i call) the 'mini gazebo' holds all my fine crochet threads i use on whim.......
as we head down to more of the inside later on this week, keep thinking of that challenge.....

(i'll answer some of your e-mail questions on Wednesday)

a HUGE hello to all my new readers.......

i am thoroughly enjoying getting to know all of you.......

  4. Oh I love all these THINGS! Such treasures.
The old man next door was washing his car this morning and he had a really old, very cool-looking wooden footstool with paint chipping off and old nails. I almost offered him money for it!
    Old things are so great.

  14. I have those same vintage locker baskets! I keep mine in my pantry, and put onions and potatos in them. And the babies bibs in another, but since baby is almost 3, I'm sure I'll have a freed up locker basket soon!
