flaky sweetness...

the inside entryway has seen a transformation (as I usually do this time of year...) and I will only now give you a sneak peek

things start coming out that are white......and not just in the entry.....
this lemon meringue pie I made for father's day sums me up pretty well lately

flaky

filled with tart/sweetness

and pretty airy up top

i have vowed to myself to take time for myself
i can do this

and do this........

I know where everything is in this house - even if the books are turned backwards for a chromatic look.....

and I also did this.......moved a double bowl farm sink into the Potager......

it's not nearly finished yet....that whole 'work station' out there....but soon....and I will make sure to share all of it with you....

happy white Wednesday!
from Faded Charm and moi......and many more

  4. HI Anne Marie
Sorry it has take so long for me to get over here.. I have been quite an absent blogger lately.. and a very slow blogger... Love the idea of turning the books backward.. certainly saves on the effort of covering them!! and that pie!! everything I can no longer eat.. boo hoo.. hahaha

Well thanks for your kind comment.. health is slowly picking up and at least now I have somewhere to live.. that always helps.. hahaha.. take care xxx Julie

Your meringue came out picture perfect - nice and peaky and browned to perfection! My grandma is a master of the lemon meringue pie, as well!

  7. Hello
Everything looks beautiful over here! Pie is my favorite, I don't make them very often anymore not since everything I eat seems to show up somewhere on my body. I have been thinking of taking time out myself... I hope you find your time.

  16. Oh my lemon meringue pie, I'm sorry what did you say, I couldn't get past the pie. I tried to bake a lemon meringue pie one time and the lemon turned out runny, so I ate the meringue. Can you tell I'm hungry (for pie).
