I'm sure you are tired of seeing bread pictures, just as much as the corn crib....
however
I can't help myself.....
I adore kneading bread...
smelling bread...
eating bread....
...and obviously taking pictures of bread
(my light lunch of brie, homemade strawberry jam and French bread) |
xo+blessings,
I would glady give up all other foods for bread!
ReplyDeleteYour looks divine.
I served my newly pregnant and very sick daughter local organic sourdough feta cheese bread tonight and it worked like magic.

mmmm; I will never get tired of ANY of your posts, I'm loving them so much. Only found you about 2 weeks ago. I'm up in RI, and grew up with Dad growing lots of veggies. He just gave me eggplants, green and yellow wax beans, corn on the cob, zucchini and yellow squash, and asked if I wanted potatoes (forgot to pack the tomatoes as well as cabbage or I'd have gotten those, too). I also make bread, and got a whispermill grinder a while back.
ReplyDeleteTake care!

Anne Marie, that looks wonderful. I too, love to make bread! It makes the home smell so wonderful and it's comforting to know that it was made with love by your own hands. Plus, for me, kneading the dough produces a very calming effect. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteCan you please answer a question on the hand sewing? Do you literally hand stitch, and if so, is it a back stitch? I've wanted to hand stitch since I'm terrible with the mechanics of my sewing machine (bobbin problems, for instance).

That is a great lunch. Yum. I should have you teach me to make bread. I can still see my grandma baking bread in her kitchen. She used to make little loaves for me and my sister. We loved that. Thanks for making me think of her this morning. I miss her dearly. Xo!
