the jewels of fall...

i grew up with an apple orchard on our property....i don't have one now, but our dear neighbor let us come over and pick what we wanted....no sprays - pure organic apples

 ~ the jewels of fall ~

she's so sweet....and so are her apples...


they make delicious apple jelly, applesauce and yummy pies.........







what goes with all this jam?

  23. I have bought a vintage preserving kit and jars and will be trying the process with my sister this year...Im hoping the lorikeets dont eat all my plums again! I love how your 'biscuits' are our 'scones' here down under...

  26. Even out here in the OC...my dad has an apple tree...so every fall there's apple sauce and pies and the smell of heaven! Mmmmmmmmmm....
