Wednesday fashion...

i don't follow fashion.....but this line.....well, has totally captured me........

why?

i have a love of vintage

i have that jacket - it was my mother's when she was first married in the late 60's

and the blend of faux leather (in this case) and gossamer and lace

can you guess who the designer is??

my favorite ensemble! love this!!

how feminine and beautiful......

Ralph Lauren...the one and only....

thank you Ralph for keeping the femininity and beauty of a woman through fashion!

don't forget Christina's wonderful giveaway at Cabbages and Roses...
they are hand-knitted socks from England made
out of organic sheep's wool!!

  2. Love it. In this case "what goes around-comes around" is a good thing! Late 60's and 70's had some really romantic fashion elements. I'm looking forward to this!

  6. Drool. Swoon. And other terms of endearment.

He's got to be my favorite designer. I love his linens too...flowers and romance.

Think any of those ensembles come in a size 18-20 or under $50?

    Me neither.

  12. I love this look! I don't pay attention to fashion either, but this makes me excited for what will be coming to our stores. If it's on the runway it will soon be in the malls and then eventually Target, etc.

  15. Yes Mr. Lauren has that enduring, casual, expensive chic. His collections are always among my favorites. I'm happy to have found you!

  16. I loved this line, too. So feminine...this line reminded me of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Some of it had a slightly masculine feel, but much of it reminded me of Katherine Ross as Etta (I think that was her name). If you've never seen the movie....rent it. His other line from this spring had a great Bonnie and Clyde flavor. Love love love his designs!!!!

  20. Oh, and I wanted to mention. Ralph Lauren knows how to make a woman look feminine in his clothing style (unlike some of those other guys who don't get it). He got it.
