Let's bring in the New Year with some laughs!! Brian Regan is hilarious....(and clean)
Tonight.........there's sparkling (non-alcoholic) wine, snacks, cookies, and lots and lots of games and music with the kids........just us........just the way we want it this year....
I wish you all the best for 2011...especially for your family and the new addition that you will soon be adding.
Your thoughtful comments to my blog always mean so much to me. I hope to someday meet in person. Who knows...maybe I'll round up a couple of girlfriends and make a trip out for a barn sale some year. Just gotta wait until that precious babe of mine grows up just a bit!
Reminds of whenever someone asks how many children I have...as I squeamishly try to explain that I have 8...5 in heaven and 3 on earth, someone always inevitably one-ups me. To that I say, go right ahead! Not the sort of thing I want to EVER one up someone on!
It's all good though...I am so blessed by our Heavenly Father. He chose ME to be a mama to THREE precious blessings when the medical community told me I could have NONE!
Anne Marie, Happy New Year to my beautiful little Momma!!!! Love the new header, looks just like you, peaceful and serene.....blessings for 2011.. Hugs, Margaret B
We are staying in and doing almost the same thing! I wish you and your family a happy and healthy New Year, Anne Marie. I so enjoyed meeting you this year and look forward to the spring!
Just a small gathering with friends for us. I know your home will be full of laughter and love. Wishing you and yours all the happiness in the world for 2011.
Sounds like a great evening. We're doing much the same...I actually just finished making homemade marshmallows and hot cocoa...and will be snuggling under blankets until midnight ;o)
We will be bringing in the New Year in much the same way. We are having a movie marathon with popcorn, sparkling cider, and some other goodies. Our youngest even made movie and food tickets for us to use.
Being with my family is the best way to celebrate anything.
Anne Marie, I pray your new year will be filled many glorious graces from our Lord! Thank you for the joy you have given me through your beautiful blog posts and photos. blessings in Christ..Trish

Happy New Year, Anne Marie! I had a similar evening last night with my family. Home is the best place to be! I got a kick out of your Brian Regan video. Back in 1992 (actually on New Year's Eve), I met my husband for the first time. We lived in different towns and when he came to visit a couple of months later, he brought a Brian Regan video for us to watch. Brian had me laughing so hard during his skit where he thinks a woman is pregnant (but she's NOT), and he tries to step back and fix things, hilariously! I was laughing so hard that an embarrassing thing happened (it has to do with a sound coming out of the lower part of my body). Of course, it wasn't a dainty sound, but the worst and loudest thing you could imagine. My husband didn't flinch, and he pretended he didn't hear a thing. At that moment, I knew he was a keeper! Ever since that night, I've been a Brian Regan fan.
Our family loves Brian Regan too! We've seen him live a few times and he never fials to get me laughing to the point where I can no longer breathe! Thanks for sharing!! -Dacia
Have a wonderful evening with your family. We'll be doing the same with ours.
