Hi there, sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteI keep hoping to see a baby post...soon I know!
BTW...I loved your post on Period Living Magazine! I loved that from the outside of the home, you would have no idea how romantic the inside would be...although there are some hints such as the gingerbread trim, potted flowers on that romantic bench, etc.
I love period homes. I love to tour originals, I love to look through books...I love to look at other homes from the outside and wonder what they look like on the inside! What I love is that you can have period on the outside and "modern" convention for the interior!
I too loved that attic! I absolutely love my boys' attic bedroom! The sloped ceiling, tiny windows, and narrowness of the length of the room lend themselves for such a cozy feel! I'm already envisioning ways to change it up after look graduates from crib (my crib!)to big boy bed. (And yes, I know that drop-side cribs are not safe, but really, it's 42 years old and no longer drops the side! LOL! ouch on the back...the beauty of the wood, carving, etc. just can't be matched with today's modern cribs!)
Love all your posts, even if I don't get to comment very often.
Blessings,
Val
Seriously...I just wrote "look" for Luke! :) See, my hands are full, but my heart is fuller...just the way I like it!
