the serious nature of life overshadowed that sparkle
i accept this
i accept the serious nature
i accept
to truly love God, i must accept it.........
whererver you may be at this very moment reading this........know that you are a gift in itself
there is no need for the material
there is no need
no need to be sad..........nor worry.........nor fear.........but accept
open your heart this moment to His will
seeing the poetry in life
feeling the sense of the acceptance
exhaling it to others..........

A beautiful message and gorgeous, gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteHave A Blessed Christmas filled with food, family, warm hugs, and joyous songs by the candlelight.
The photos, along with your words brought tears to my eyes...
ReplyDeleteThank you for this post as I'm currently working on acceptance. I'm also worrying too much about post Christmas, when the real Christmas season starts, whether I will be able to keep the immaterial gift of Christmas in my heart. Am I ready for Christmas, parties, presents and house decor aside? I hope so. Again thank you for this as I take it as yet another reminder to clean up my house, which is myself, for the arrival of the Lord.

Such a beautiful message...I think this is the essence of being content. Acceptance as to who and where you are and rejoicing in the grace and joy that God brings even in the midst of trial. The Lord knows what tomorrow brings and today is a key element in what will happen...I think for GOOD:).
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are gorgeous!!
Thank you for the reminder...it is easy to forget to put aside worry, fear, and anxiety:).

What beautiful photos! I still remember a post you did about this time last year with the snow and the beautiful cake. The table you had set outside with all of the freshly fallen snow and the thoughts of remembering the Lord at this time of the year. It really stuck with me.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you and your family.

That is just about the most beautiful prayer I have ever heard. One that is easily stated, but takes a lifetime of learning to grow into.
ReplyDeleteThank you for having shared this.

Oh, those photos are DIVINE!! I am STRUGGLING to accept where I am. I need to listen and accept, and still I struggle. I can't figure out if I'm supposed to be here, or if my intuition that this move was a mistake is correct. SIGH. I know I'll end up where ever He wants me to be...
ReplyDeleteMay the Peace that passes all understanding be yours as the serious nature of Life at this time overshadows the sparkle.
