thermos's at the ready (the small new one from Jen Rippenger's booth at Past & Present Shops)
a vintage clay mug from the Open Air Market...it's holding all of Jason's newly carved spoons, knives and honey dipper we'll be selling in the shop online soon

I also bought this little dust broom at Open Air Market hosted by Cheryl Hunt in Sycamore
a little treasure by a bird that once resided in my grandmother's home and a shelf from someplace along the flea market path from years ago.......it is the simplest room of the house.....and has to be......it's where all the baking happens.....the baking nook i like to say

I never get tired of seeing photos of your kitchen. I particularly love your rustic shelving... it's just perfect for your old house. I'd love to add some like it in our old kitchen one day. And that baking nook... how wonderful! I'm not sure I ever realized you had that there. Happy Fall to you!
ReplyDeletei never tire of photos of your kitchen. truly. it's always different. personal touches that have special meaning. LOVE!! so good seeing you this morning. wish we were still sitting there chatting. i am blessed by your friendship.
ReplyDeleteHi Anne Marie!
ReplyDeleteI love your kitchen and for me, I would love to have a table in my kitchen, if I had room and your table is perfect. So nice to have someone chat and visit while cooking - or put them to work to peel or chop while I am doing the stirring. Thanks for the comment! My blogger is acting up and I am getting a lot of spam in my folder and a lot of comments in my spam file! How did you get to see all the pies and articles? I would love to have a sneak peek! Thank you for the compliments and yes, by the time I was finished testing my dough and recipe, I think I was "pied" out for a while.
Your home, life, and big family is something I always wished to have had, but somehow, life just takes us down a path that was meant to be something different - and so we make our path ours. So happy for you and all that you do and thank you for sharing your life with others.
Big hugs and what kind of pie did you do???
Elizabeth :-)
Oh how I love your blog and reading all your entries that come through my email. I love your home, your life and your beautiful children. Thank you so very much for sharing a part of your life with all of us.
ReplyDeleteHugs & Blessings,
Debbie
a sofa is always a good thing, but if, like me, you don't have the space, let me suggest you try an extremely comfy, slightly shabby club chair...i did and it is divine...it encourages tired boys to sit a spell, and sometimes even talk a while...i wouldn't trade that chair for anything...
ReplyDeleteIt looks comfy and inviting. Love to visit your place if you only near in my place.
ReplyDeleteThose vintage stuff really cute.
There was a little whisk broom like yours left here when we moved in. It's earned a place on display in my kitchen. Next to all my vintage and often used kitchen tools. :)
