at the crib...in the fog

when Jordan came into our life, she was a rescue horse

the previous owner had passed on due to cancer...we weren't expecting a nearly 16 hand Percheron-Thouroughbred cross

Jordan couldn't be more gentle....you can see it in her big beautiful eyes and softness of her being...her bond is with our oldest daughter, but loved by us all

  4. How lovely she is - does she work? I remember the working horses from my childhood in Yorkshire - when we rode them our legs stuck straight out because their backs are so broad!

  9. Good morning, Anne Marie. You know how in life, you got those little special moments when you "get it?" I was just looking at your photos of Jordan, and looking into her eyes I truly feel like I can see into her soul. Usually, I just think an animal is sweet, or cute, but she's so beautiful and compelling that I really "get it." I love so much, how you live in the moment and really "see" God's creation. You remind me to slow down, take in the sweet moments of life, and to be present in my own life.
