i really want to know...

if  any of you have read the previous post, you have read about deciding what God is telling you to do

sometimes I can get pretty rapped up in my daily duties as a wife and mother, and things are going smoothly, that I don't need to ask for help.....or maybe.....maybe a bit stubborn also to never ask for it

so......this leads me to open up this blog, for once, which I have never done (at least to my recollection)

i really want to know what you, my reader, want from me

I can hear the Lord calling me, but I don't know about you, but last time I asked for anything, I never do hear a voice

i wish

so, i need your voice........

please see my sidebar and answer the quick question by choosing one answer, or, leave me a comment below

a thank you in advance..............
xo+blessings,

  1. Sweet lady, I hope you are doing well. I am not quite sure what you are asking but I assume it is what your reader wants from your blog. Am I correct? If so, I always love your recipes, the photos of your simple yet perfect vignettes, the wonderful things your husband is creating. You are a very interesting lady with so much to offer. Thanks for sharing yourself, your heart, your family.

If I was just totally off, then I am sorry.

Weird comment here, but if you ever want to chat, please message me.

    Blessings, Amy

  3. I looked over your 4 options from the sidebar and I would like to choose all 4 please! Anne Marie, your life is such a blessing for all of us. I love how you keep things simple yet you are so deep and compassionate. I love hearing about your recipes and life on the farm. I know I'm probably not being very helpful but I think the answer I would best like to say is, please just keep following your heart because it is leading you down beautiful paths and you are touching a lot of people's lives.

    Hugs,
    Lynne

  5. I would say all 4 too! I love hearing about your family, your
life and your thoughts...love the recipes too!

  6. I really wanted to vote for all of them too. But then figured your life on the farm would include all of them :) I also love when you include photos from the inside of your home. And the stuff (clothing, crafts, food) you make. You have such a natural talent.

  7. I tried to choose them all...no luck...! I chose that last because I think it covers all. xo

  8. Anne Marie, you've been a mentor for me. I'm a Catholic wife and mom of four, expecting our fifth in May. We homeschool and try to live an intentionally simple life here in Texas. It's a comfort to read anything you write. Your quiet and humble witnessing leaves wishing that I lived just down the road from your beautiful farm.

I'm struggling with an illness I wasn't expecting and your words I read yesterday really hit me and I know whatever cross I have to bear I'm not holding it alone. He is with me.

  15. oh dear!
Nothing, I want nothing more from you and your blog.
I enjoy reading and seeing whatever you find inspirational at the moment you write it, may it be your garden, a picture you have found on the web that has inspired you, your recipes, your home decorations, you beeing a mother, JUST YOU AND YOUR LIFE.
Whatever you have particularly appreciated on a day... nothing specific...just YOU!

  16. Actually, Anne Marie, I would vote for all of them.

  17. there is no "all of the above" choice.

  18. Your blog is just perfect the way it is! So I would have to say all four. I always enjoy visiting... your recipes are wonderful... your gardening is beautiful and inspiring... your home is one of my favorites because you have your own style which perfectly fits your farmhouse... and sharing a little of your life and family is always wonderful to read.

  19. I actually love the blog the way it is. A person is made of spirit, physical, emotionally, and the heart. Everything affects the other. I prefer to know the whole being, not just one side of them. Those are the blogs I read the most. As a Catholic, your insights help me grow in faith, but the other parts of your blog, being a wife, mother, business person, decorator, etc. show me how you put your beliefs into practice. So, don't change, you are a beautiful, unique creation of The Almighty! In His Love, Shelia

  20. Happy New Year Anne Marie,
I have been catching up with you and the family today...reading many posts I missed. Baby Daniel is growing up so fast, he is beautiful, such a sweet little one.
I love your blog just the way it is...I enjoy reading everything you write. I also enjoy seeing the farm.
Just keep doing what you are, its perfect!
    Sending love and hugs, Elizabeth

  22. I love you blog and enjoy reading your updates every day. You give me inspiration Anne Marie and I always feel so much better after reading your posts. I love that you share your life and family with us, I live that kind of life I want through you so I thank you for that.
God Bless you and please continue as you are, you are doing a great job and you help so many.

  23. I love the blog as is...you share your heart on so many things and deeply. I love seeing your farm and family and a new way to look at my own journey. God bless you for being you and know you touch my heart because you are so real.

  24. Anne-Marie, I think that others, like myself, may feel that your contributions through this blog are considered a gift to the readers. As with any gift, it should be you, the giver, who decides what it should be. We stay because we are appreciative of each gift, and thank you for your generosity of time and energy. We accept the gift as it is, with no strings attached. Perhaps the gift-of-the-day may not be one-size-fits-all, and we set it aside if it's not right for us. But we know that another will come along, and we look forward to it. Please do not feel hindered or encumbered by what we might want. Instead, share with us the blessings which you receive yourself, in whatever form they may come.

  25. Oh Anne Marie...choosing was so very hard. Ironically, I chose what happens to be the most popular response...thus far! But I loved them all. I read for inspiration...for recipe ideas...to get a glimpse into life on a true homestead...just keep doing what you're doing!

    Love,
    Val

  26. I am a recent reader of your lovely blog--and I totally understand your desire to focus. You have such a gift for simple healthy recipes--and striking decorating. Your children are charming--but you may find that as they grow up--they don't want to be the center of your blog. The best part is--that by narrowing on one or two areas--the other bits don't disappear from your life--they just become more private to your family. SO, I vote recipes and decorating as a second choice. God bless you as you discern your direction.

  27. As someone new to your site I find it peaceful and inspirational and hope you continue writing in all four areas, it is what sets your blog apart! So keep on keepin.

I read this somewhere,.. God does not have to communicate in words, if you sincerely seek his will, your first impressions are right, maybe it's that still small feeling, picture or idea inside of you. Hope this helps.

  28. Good morning Anne marie,

I love all of your posts. I wanted to chose all four, but could only pick one so I went with the inspirational because I think this is where all your inspiration comes from. It is your core with regards to your children, husband, love of the farm, and what your create from. Without God I think your life and blog would be completely different.

  29. I enjoy it all but mostly the gardening and recipes.

  30. I have to agree that I would choose an "all of the above" - I love your inspiration, your life on the farm, your gardening, and recipes. I've been reading your blog for well over a year now. I always feel delight when I stumble upon a new post of yours.

God speaks to and through all of us. I understand you're trying to find your voice, the voice He wants you to use, but I think that will be found from within.

    God Bless you and yours,
    Nicole

  31. I must agree with everyone~ALL OF THE ABOVE. But if I had to choose only one, I would choose inspiration because of your peaceful, simple way of exuding your faith. May God bless your endevours.

  32. I tried to choose all of them........but could only choose one, I personally love to read whatever you choose to write and share about because it always strikes a chord , whether it be children, gardening, life in general...its what makes your blog unique to you...I lost a heap of followers on my blog, I chanced to look at the numbers and they had decreased, but I thought, oh well...Im not writing to please everybody, those that like my style, or what I share will hang around...a blog is a personal space, but a shared one if that makes sense, so its yours, all yours to choose what you want to do with it...........keep doing what your heart says.......x

  33. All of the above... I just love coming here and drinking in a bit of you, your faith and your world.

  34. Your blog is one of only a few I have put in my 'favorites' but I cannot choose between the four choices you gave us. Your deep spiritual writing - the exquisite photos of the farm, inside of your home, children, animals - the delightful recipes - observations on farm life - all are special to me. I guess, to sum it up, I vote for just hearing from you - anything God is prompting you to share for that day. You give a light of hope and beauty and love to a world that is not always so kind. You bless all of us.

  35. I choose all 4 too! I saw that others said that :)I love the way you take inspiration from the Lord and combine it with photos of farm and family life, with recipes and gardening thrown in. You are gifted with the blessing of inspiring others, and the far reaching effects of that are felt here with your readers, both the ones known to you and the many you'll never know this side of heaven :)
    Blessings,
    Marcia

  37. Whatever God calls you to write each day, as you always have, is what I wish to continue to read. Each post is a delight and encouragement, whether is is spiritual, daily duties, a new dessert on a china platter...write on as the Spirit leads!
