~is to perform in front of other people ~
I love playing my guitar, and even singing, but alas......I will just admire this stage I saw during a travel, and maybe someday, I'll overcome that fear...........
i would pick a venue like this though - for sure -
have a blessed day!

Hi Anne Marie
ReplyDeleteWell I don't think I could sing in front of people at all! Even having to speak in front of a group [which I have to do for work at times] can be daunting.
I'm sure you have a lovely singing voice and maybe one day you should give it a go!!
Happy Sunday to you ..x Julie
PS My B&W post is up
Performing is not for everyone and that's okay. Enjoyed your black & white photos.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that you would be brilliant, Anne Marie but, you should only do it if you want to. There's nothing worse than being made to perform.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Julie. I hate speaking in front of people, let alone performing.
One day, though the time might be right and you will feel brave enough. I wish you and your family a lovely day. XXXX
It seems that everyone agrees on this: I hate speaking in front of people too. Perhaps, though, if you found someone to sing with you would feel better. I love singing for people, but I could never do it by myself.
ReplyDelete~ Your Niece~
I have the same fear! You are far from alone.
ReplyDeleteHave a great, blessed Sunday,
Anne
sing away. i would love to hear it.
ReplyDeletei bet you have a beautiful voice!!
I couldn't get up in front of people either....then again I can't sing or play an instrument.
ReplyDeleteMaybe practicing in front of your family would help!
I did a B&W post....Halloween one but not too creepy! I know your not a fan but I couldn't help myself!
Csatlakoztam:))) Visit me, please!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I would never sing in front of anyone, as the only time I sound good is when I am in the shower...being muffled by the water! However, I taught a cooking class this summer, and thought I would NEVER be able to stand in front of a group and "perform", but i surprised even myself by loving nearly every minute of it!
ReplyDeleteI'm just weird that way. Give me a bunch of kids of any age and I can lead, sing and make a general fool of myself and it doesn't bother me an ounce but put me in front of adults and I become a tongu-tied babblin' fool. God knew what he was doing when he allowed me to teach Special Ed, Sunday School (pre-teen) and lead Kid's Church. 'Just goes to show, He knows exactly what He's doin'!
ReplyDeleteGreat stage portrayed in the beautiful black and whites. Ya'll have a super day filled with blessings!!!
You amaze me!Play the guitar!I agree about the singing because you have to look at everyone while singing...but if your playing the guitar you can look at the strings...well actually you could sing at keep your eye on the guitar instead of the crowd!Lol! Listen to me...Silly!
