i purchased this old apple ladder a long time ago, and so wanted to use it......
hung with some very fragile Scottish laced linen, it showcases a few of my favorite pieces.....

THE OVERALL LOOK........
featured in this shot, through the mirror, is a hat I purchased from Jeanne at Bushel and Peck, which rests atop a wire hat frame + hooks for my projects in action.......
i set up an extra little table draped with antique French hemp/linen....for I'm sure I'll use the extra table space (and underneath is my sewing machine)
the lighting was so bright, and i do apologize for the terrible photography.........
BEFORE:
AFTER:
it certainly isn't an ideal space, or 'just so' but that's not how i roll......
because if you know me, this space will change through the seasons..........or at a whim
BEFORE:
lonely little Elizabeth.....with her pretty little chandelier and mirror.......
AFTER:
at night, the chandelier dimmed in romance......
I am hoping this will inspire those of you who need a creative space, and can only afford to carve out a small area to do so.......
I love it, I enjoyed my visit to your blog today, stop by sometime. XO MARY

That is such a lovely and inspiring space Anne Marie!
ReplyDeleteOH! I am so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteThat space is perfect! I LOVE that hat stand - I need one of those for my new bonnet.
It does look really good Anne - can't wait to see what you will come up with next.
I love your space. I can't leave well enough alone at my house either. And I think that your room looks more "homey" with all of your goodies!
ReplyDeleteHi Anne Marie!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you shared how you incorporated all your lovely things into this soft and creative corner.
I have a medium oak table and it was great to see that you used creamy white chairs for it. We need to get chairs for this table and I never thought to use white. It looks like such a light and happy space.

Happy Sweet Sunday to you ~ Maria
ps. I enjoyed your "all about me page... the story of your family life at Nada-farm is great and your animals are beautiful!
It's such a treat to see your creativity! Your space looks perfect.
ReplyDeleteI live vicariously through your blog because there is no way on God's green earth----or as I say here in Arizona "no way on God's brown earth" I could ever have a space like that with 9 kids.....they touch EVERYTHING!! I can't even put up a card table with a dime store table cloth and try to put a religious statue or plant on it. I now have almost 4000
ReplyDeletesquare feet of living space and I can't find a corner that I can claim all for myself......so for now I live in a mauselium--mispelled that one, I'm sure. I say all of this with a smile of course!!! I look forward to reading this blog---you are an inspiration to me. There was a day when I did stuff like that---probably about 6 kids ago. Everyone used to comment on how creative I was when they came to my house---Now I get "where's all your stuff?" You are so gifted...I long for more Nadafarmlife....keep it coming!
