Peeks in and around the garden...

Planting season + Barn sale = lots of peeks for you!!

pink (all shades) is THE color here this year for annuals

my view from the driveway to the Potager just yesterday...and a closeup of one of my favorite shrubs; the chokeberry

the horse barn (aka the sale barn)

having the sale on the anniversary of the fire, I am blending in elements of items that have burned as well as salvaged barn wood (sorry, but those items will not be for sale)

this is a street sign of Madison Street...Chicago that was salvaged from the burning rubble here on the farm...and finally gets it's debut

(more peeks later this week!!)

much love and peace...

  7. Love the chokeberry, new to me. Only found you fairly recently so don't quite understand what happened about the fire. Did your barn burn down? Thanks for stopping by, look forward to you telling me about your children's books.
    Take care

  8. I got your comment back Anne Marie, and I think I found the video link on your blog (bottom left - the virgin Mary?) but I can't make it work.
    Did I miss something?
