when we did meet, an instant connection happened with two things:
we both have a potager (we do NOT know of anyone else who designed their gardens that way...at least, not in the USA!)
and our love for a couch - it's actually pretty hilarious how much we do have in common
I cursed the word "blog" at one time, but I had been sorely mistaken, and am so amazed at the men and women who have entered my life...both virtually and in person

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! I would have LOVED to have met you this past weekend but I hear you have something more important cookin' and travel isn't in the plans for you right now! I so wish I could make it to your sale but that is the ONE weekend in October we have plans. Perhaps in the spring????? I am adding you blog to my sidebar, it would be lovely if you would add mine to yours?

And you my dear, are the Prairie to my Paris!
ReplyDeleteI thought about listing all our commonalities... but Operation Parisienne Farmhouse Homestead commences in 20 minutes with the arrival of a "hired hand"
Oh boy.
If I did list them all I would not be much help today but may I say, the most important thing we have in common is our Lord and Savior!
Many Blessings to you today.

Love that Parisienne Farmgirl...she's so cute and spunky. Love you and your blog, too, dear Anne Marie. You are simply the best. You and I share a mutual love for old vinyl records, I see! I have an old record player a lot like yours...it is a treasure to me.
ReplyDeleteBe blessed!
That Angela is something else! Talented and beautiful and a real firecracker. :-)
ReplyDeleteY'all both love a couch? Oh my gosh, I've had a 13 year love affair with MY couch. I knew I like you two for a good reason.
XO,
Anne
Thanks for sharing these wonderful images and the link. It is so lovely to see you in one image!!! Have a great weekend, hugs Yvonne
ReplyDeleteWow Anne Marie... your pictures are always so stunning! They really do take my breath away...
ReplyDeleteHugs ~ Jo :)
I so wish I could come to your sale - and see your potager too, one day I am going to have one when I have more soil than a row of wine barrels (I live on ROCK!)
ReplyDeleteMy brother bought land with an old tennis court, and put his orchard and chooks at one side, and raised vegetable beds at the other - perfect drainage and security from kangaroos (guess where he lives!)
One day I will come and visit, meanwhile I so enjoy the virtual community - I wouldn't have guessed it even a year ago! It is a real blessing: "and all flesh shall see it together", could this be what the prophet envisaged?
Very nice photos!
ReplyDeleteI've just discovered and became a Follower on your blog! I seem to enjoy most of what you have! Love the vintage ball gowns! If you'd like to take a "trip" to New England please come visit my fairly new blog, I love company and new Followers are always so exciting! Thank you, I enjoyed my visit today!
ReplyDeleteOh my, these photos are wonderful, and those macarons are almost calling out to me...yum. I love your blog and am now following you :)
ReplyDeleteBest wishes.
