ReplyDeleteIt looks delicious! I think I will try apple jelly this year after applesauce:).
ReplyDeleteI have never pressure canned...but want to try it so badly! Turkey soup sounds great and what a wonderful thing to have during the cold winter months.

ReplyDeleteoooh..so pretty. My mama used to make pear preserves. We would take a biskit, roll it out, put a couple of tablespoons on it, fold it over, crimp the edges, and then FRY it. It was heaven on earth, I tell ya.
ReplyDeleteI love apple jelly and pear jelly, but I've never made either. My cousin used to make them when her in-laws owned a bit of an orchard. So delicious. I haven't had either in a long time. I wish I could come by and have you teach me all you know :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Marcia
Beautiful! I have been knee deep in canning apple pie filling. Florence
ReplyDeleteI've canned chicken-vegetable soup, but see no reason why turkey couldn't be subbed. I've done A LOT of pressure canning, if you have a particular recipe you like, I can see if I have a similar one and give you the times and pressure at which to can it. It is sooo nice on a hectic day to be able to bring up a few jars of soup, make a batch of biscuits, and have a hearty, but fast supper!
ReplyDeleteOh, and your jellies are beautiful!
